And now for the rest of the story

Since there was no blog update since last Tuesday, here is a recap.
We discovered some new friends on board the good ship Triumph, thanks to the seating arrangement in the main dining room. We met Karen and George from Tennessee, Mike and Linda from Kentucky ( I think), and last but not least Ron and Diane from Oklahoma. Ron is as deaf than me, so we got along great. If any of you guys are tuned in to this, we hope to see y'all again. (The y'all is for Karen)
Anyway, after we left Cozumel, we headed for the Grand Caymen Islands. When we got there on Thursday, we couldn't go ashore due to the rough seas and rip tides thanks to that damn Ike guy. I told you before that "I don't like Ike", and I don't think he liked me too much either. So, we headed out early for Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We arrived in Jamaica on Friday morning, and Joyce and I got off the ship about 9:30 a.m. We spent some time in the shops, then we hired a cab and took a 1.5 hour tour around the area. Clifton was our driver. He has lived all of his 52 years in Jamaica, and drove us around to areas that he said tourists wouldn't normally see. We learned a lot about the people and their lifestyle, as well as the history of Jamaica, and of the fruits, spices, etc. that are native to the Island.
We had to be back onboard the ship at 3:00 p,m. to set sail for Miami at 3:30 mp.m.
I'm sure that Joyce will add a lot more details, so I am going to add some pictures, and call it a night. Tomorrow we are off to Charleston South Carolina which is a little over 400 miles.
Till then, Ernie
