Getting ready to head south

Well, here we are at the beggining of the week that we will be heading to "The Valley of the Sun". It was 81 degrees in Phoenix yesterday, and we are hoping that the weather holds up. I'm sure that it's not going to be 80 every day, but if it were we wouldn't complain. The Motorhome went in for an oil change and it got a new set of gas shocks last week. What a difference the new shocks make! I wish I would have had them installed before our "Big Adventure" last year. It is almost a night and day difference in the ride and the handling. Tomorrow (Monday) the motorhome gets a new windshield. We got a rock chip in Colorado that started growing into a crack in Texas. We had the crack repaired at that time, but when we got into the below freezing temperatures and the snow (not to mention turkeys) in South Dakota, the crack took off again. So we will set off with a view devoid of cracks and rock chips. We are picking the motorhome up in Stanwood on Wednesday, so we can get everything in it's place to hit the road Friday morning. We will be in Central Oregon Friday night, central California Saturday night, southern California Sunday night, and Apache Junction Arizona Monday afternoon if all goes well.
I am very excited about the spring training games that we have tickets for. Our seats are mid way between third base and the left field wall, and are only 2 or 3 rows from the field. Patrice and Paul got tickets for 2 of the White Sox games also durring the week that they will be out. I ordered 2 sets of tickets for a 16 game package today for the regular season. They are in the "nosebleed" section, but they are right behind home plate. I'm hoping that Joyce will go to half of them with me, and that I can find somebody to go when she can't. All of the games I selected are on a weekday, and a couple are day games.
So that's it for now. The next update will be comming at you from either Oregon, California, or Arizona!! Stay warm,**************Ernie

Bon Voyage, hope everything goes as planned. Ron is super jealous (being a big baseball fan). You will have to clue me in on how to go about getting tickets and such. This sounds like something he really would love.
Looking forward to your next adventure....keep looking in your rear view mirror for those turkeys...Diane
